I tried sending you the photo of our beautiful son via instagram – but I don’t think you’re on there much Lindy? 😉 Probably too busy ! I am writing this card and I don’t know where to begin. We have a baby boy and I know that you have played a huge part in getting me to sort my sh*t out, have the spermatosa (still makes me smile) tests and just relax into lifestyle adjustments. Dear Lindy, back in 2020 you didn’t laugh or sneer at what I called ‘my covid disabilites’. Here we are some years later and the truth is there’s long covid! I never doubted you, I only doubted myself and couldn’t see a time when I would feel like I had the energy I used to have. Enjoying the things I used to take for granted such as eating a meal (being able to smell it and taste it again) and having the physical and mental energy to get back to painting and designing (and remembering words!). Hot flushes, problems sleeping, utter irritability and needed to use the loo far too often for my liking! In fact I will say that I was being a totally irrational hot headed woman and was in denial that I had reached Menopause. I was reccomended the very calm Lindy by a close friend. So far, I can see how I need to embrace these changes (thanks to acupuncture treatment) and I am sleeping better, less hot flushes and can laugh again without needing to run to the loo. I had a huge fear of needles before I met Lindy. To be honest, I was desperate for some pain management for my Frozen Shoulder and I stumbled upon Acupuncture as my last resort. I had no idea how painless acupuncture treatment was and felt stupid for thinking that the needles would feel like syringes! Lindy treated my painful shoulder which is back to full health today and helped me to uncover the causes for my digestive and sleeping issues. I came to Lindy for Acupuncture treatment due to suffering a range of physical (msk issues) and psychological problems that were causing me considerable distress.
